Our hotel, village and the entire region offers the perfect setting for a great summer holiday. There is so much to do. Its a hiking, biking paradise. The swimming in crystal clear mountain lakes is a highlight.
There is also much to discover, such as picturesque villages, remote mountain huts, animal parks and simple beautiful places far from the crowd.
Back at the hotel , we would like you to find your home away from home. You can enjoy our idyllic garden with amazing mountain view, the outdoor pool , the kids enjoy our large nature playground. Have a cold beer or special regional wine. Soak it all in. Sneak off to the spa , or have a go on the slide.
We are sure you will make memories and feel at home , which is what this is all about.

Ehrwald - keeping traditions
Ehrwald is a picturesque alpine village- but a real one, not a tourist attraction, its full of history and its living and breathing. Its also the perfect base to explore the region. To the north the Ammergauer Alps, to the west the wild Lechtaler Alps, in the south the Mieminger Kette ( chain) and in the east the raw Wetterstein range with the massive Zugspitze ( 2962m). Four impressive mountain ranges start in the Zugspitze Arena.
Two winter olympic towns are a stone throw away - Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Innsbruck are 20 or 60 mins away by car. These are towns steeped in history and culture and the whole family can easily while away hours discovering what's on offer. Then there are countless natural highlights and places to discover nearby.
