The picturesque Heiterwanger Lake lies at gateway to the Zugspitz Arena, in the village of Heiterwang only a 15 minute drive from us.  

There are lots of boating options to soak in the views. Take one of our  Stand up Paddles to try out or an electric boat or a paddle boat, the kids can have fun at the playground or mini golf course. There is also a larger boat that allows to enjoy the landscape of the lake. The boats stops at three different places from where you can easily hike back.  

The Eibsee, is a very special jewel just across the border in Bavaria, you can hike to it from our hotel. It has turquoise shimmering waters and the Zugspitz mountain in the backdrop. Locals call it the Bavarian Caribbean, its more pines than palm trees though but the water colour is exotic.
