Our unique family hotel in Ehrwald in Tyrol is located directly at the foothills of the famous Zugspitze mountain. Our 4 star family hotel is owner built and operated by the third generation. That’s us, Bettina, Luke and our two little bosses Flynn and Felix.
We embody Tyrolean hospitality as well as values from Lukes African home, Zambia like family time, being close to nature as well as mindfulness and space – we value these aspects as a family and as your hosts of our family hotel Tirolerhof in Ehrwald.

Your family holiday is most important to us. We have 40 rooms and suites with balconies and mountain views, right in the heart of the Zugspitzarena, with lots of space for you to enjoy your time together, to relax while your kids are always within sight.
These are our “little adventures” in and around our village Ehrwald. Our family hotel is located right next to the slopes and we have our own skischool. In Winter kids learn how to ski in a large practicing area and in summer it’s a wonderful outdoor space to play.
Our motto is “collect memories not things“ – spending time together is the most important thing in the world. Our hotel is a happy place where we would like you to experience moments and make memories for a lifetime with your loved ones.

Our all-inclusive pension caters for every need, all day long. Start your morning with a wholesome breakfast buffet, during the day we have soups, salads, snack and cakes if your are feeling peckisch and in the evening you can enjoy a 5 course regional menu and a buffet with special dishes for the kids. Your children are also welcome to eat at our kids table with our nannies.
As parents ourselves we know how important it is to have some quality time for each other whilst the kids are enjoying themselves. We believe it is important for every single member of the family to get what they need from a holiday. That’s what makes these trips special. We offer all-day child care on 6 days per week with a fun outdoor and indoor programme. We also have in-house baby care starting from 6 months. Our own ski school is right next to the hotel and is specialized in kids lessons.
Our Spa and wellness area at our family hotel in Ehrwald is the perfect place to relax – you can find an indoor as well as heated outdoor pool, saunas, steam room and quiet zones to re-charge your batteries. We also offer family sauna for families at our pool. Did you know that we also have massage and spa treatments for kids…
We feel incredibly lucky to call this wonderful place directly at the Zugspitze mountain our home. Everything is on our doorstep: mountain lakes, forests, rivers, meadows – are our outdoor playground. We would like to show you our home and share it.
Mindfulness and outdoor experiences are the core of our concept as well as quality time with the family. Our “little adventures“ are partly guided adventures and recommended activities where you explore our area on your own as a family.
Our own kids offer us daily inspiration for many of the things we offer at our family hotel Tirolerhof in Ehrwald. Our boys Flynn and Felix love to be out and about and we have incorporated many of their favourite things to do in our “little adventures” , in our kids program and our food. There are many suprises to be found and certainly something for everyone.
